If you did not know that SL’s Got Talent, you better ask somebody!
A spin off of the television show, America’s Got Talent, SL’s Got Talent employs the same idea: To offer talented individuals a chance to compete for a chance to win a plethora of cash prizes and promotional branding opportunities. To learn more about the prizes available, please refer to the SL’s Got Talent website.
The contest is produced by Bluebyrd Entertainment, and hosted by its CEO Jackie Lefko. According to the SL’s Got Talent website, “…..the idea of SLGT came to Jackie after debuting several new SL performers at her venue, The Speakeasy. She felt a contest would be a great opportunity for those looking for a unique opportunity to not only showcase their talent but to also engage in a personal challenge” (SL’s Got Talent website).

The SL Parade managed to catch up to Jackie Lefko during the SL’s Got Talent performances, and was told that this competition has been going on every year since 2013, and will continue on every year indefinitely. Lefko adds, “We also had (SL’s Got Talent) auditions last week…after those auditions, we have had our first round 1 competition on Thursday (November 9, 2016), followed by round 2 (which happened yesterday, on November 12, 2016), and today…we will have the final round.”
While many may still be recovering from the phenomenal talent displayed at yesterday’s SL’s Got Talent, be mindful to put that recovery aside to watch today’s final round. Scheduled to begin at 2 PM SLT, the SL’s Got Talent Final round will allow judges, as well as members of the audience to hear the contestants one last time before the winners of this year’s competition are awarded their prizes.
